| My personal no.1 in october: THE album of the 80`s as fantastic re-issue, one of my all time favs - Duran Duran`s Rio album, def. the highlight of 2009. Also worth to check out the lost pearls of Patrick Cowley with Jorge Soccaras - an new wave styled album that has never seen the light of day, more than 25 years later finally released, timeless and catchy. The Hasbeens - You & Me ...another Hit of Dj Overdose`s project with Alden Tyrell, the producer team from Rotterdam will burn the dancefloors. An interesting mixture of electro and disco. Check the well produced video on youtube! Galxy Toobin - great new Creme record, excellent Overdose remix. Teslasonic is from Italy, the best electro label in Rome, high quality standards. check! Saint Etienne - timeless classic remixed, beautiful! Gutterballs OST - the best release on Permanent Vacation ever. A bad movie with an superb electronic 70`s-like horror soundtrack a la Goblin. My favourite record this summer and after. The Hasbeens - yes, still can`t get enough of this soft electro record by my No.1 musicians from NL. The handmade cover is a bomb too. DJ Overdose - In For The Kill a fat record that I was waiting for so long time, it took years to come out, that`s why it is still in my top 10 - monster electro by the artist who released already on our little label (on das drehmoment "Dream Disco") Synthetic Memento - a coloured double vinyl from France with loads of massive poppy, electro and wave tracks from known and unknown artists - this release should get more attention. www.das-drehmoment.com |
