| Fatty Fatty is a label split between Dublin and Melbourne that's on a mission to bring you nothing but the best in disco, soul, funk and house from yesteryear,as well as original new dancefloor music. Our first release,'Rejigs Vol 1' by Pablo and Shoey had support from Get Down Edits,Sleazy Beats,Hot Toddy and Superbreak, and the just released 'Rejigs Vol 2' has already garnered big support from the boys over at FeelMyBicep.com The lead track is a fierce electro-boogie/proto-house workout that's been sampled to death on pop rave standards like Bizarre Inc's 'I'm Gonna Get You' and Snap's 'The Power', as well as Bicep's recent smasher 'Getcha Boi'. 'TP With The Ill Behaviour' is a big hip hop/disco mash up that pas tribute to an old mix tape of Detroit legend Terrence Parker.Last but not least a relentless psychedelic boogie monster rounds out the package. The release will be followed swiftly by the first volume of our 'Downtownsounds Classics' series,fully licensed 12s documenting the big tunes and incredible obscurities that soundtracked the long-running club collective's nights in Dublin. 'Volume 1' will feature one screaming disco classic and one 15 minute 21st Century epic by Daniel Wang and Brennan Green and comes out end of October, with a natty full colour sleeve design. The 2nd volume will feature a re-edit of the Nicky Siano/Arthur Russell classic 'Kiss Me Again', as well as some classic Ashley Beedle/Black Science Orchestra goodness.
