Review: Pacific House pioneers Legowelt and Xosar surface for air as Xamiga for a second time, appearing on the M Division with the dinky blue vinyl Oceania 10". Mr Wolfers is no stranger to the Melbourne imprint, having graced M Division on several occasions under his Nacho Patrol banner, and it's great to see him and XOSAR offered the chance to expand on last year's debut Xamiga release on Rush Hour. As you'd expect from the nautical stylings, there's a healthy amount of Drexciyan influence at display across the three tracks, mixed up with spectral, self styled 'Ghost Haus' that XOSAR has been developing across her solo releases. "Atlantis Force Code" is a considered highlight, sounding like Daphne Oram trying her hand at jacking house.

Review: Some two years on from their last outing - the Oceania 12" on M Division - Xosar and Legowelt re-boot their production partnership. Given both artists passion of intergalactic electronics, classic synthesizers and creaky old drum machines, it's little surprise to find Bohemian Groove packed with spacey techno rhythms, glistening electronics and almost suffocating chords. The title track sets the tone, with alien melodies, enveloping chords and fizzing cymbals creating a typically cosmic mood. The spacey theme continues on the deeper, bittersweet "Cumulus Versie", before breaking up the beats a little on the picturesque "Midwest". "Blizzard" closes proceedings with a sweeping combination of Italo-influenced bottom end, melancholic synthesizers and intoxicating electronics.
