  1. Anaxander - "Stabs Of Love"
  2. Michael Zucker - "Greater Is He"
  3. Michael Zucker - "Lost Without You"
  4. Anaxander - "Heart 2 Heart"
Review: We at Finale Sessions are excited to have French producer Anaxander and Finale Sessions owner Michael Zucker together for this deep house jewel ! We start with Anaxander and his track "Stabs Of Love" One of the best tracks on the Ep with drums from another planet and its stabing chords the permiate the dance floor ! and wicked hi hats that shread through this massive track . Then we move to Anaxander's other track " Heart To Heart" which gives this record a sense of deepness with it's percussions and its rythmatic keys Then we move to Michael Zucker's first track "Greator Is He" another jem off this massive ep and we start with the melodic keys and pads that give this track a very persusive sound and a very potent late night dance floor killer top to bottom. Last but not least we have Michael Zucker's " Missing You" this one is a floor stomper for sure with hard kicking drums and its filtering keys and its punch love dub sound which gives this record the hardness to stand its ground...

Deep House
  1. MTA
  2. Over The Top
  3. Foundation (part 1)
  4. Reflection
Review: If you're going to launch a label, it's always wise to start with a bang. That's exactly what newcomers Audio Visual have done here, recruiting Detroit veteran Terrence Dixon and Chez Damier cohort Michael Zucker (boss of Finale Recordings, no less) for a four-track trip into deep techno and intergalactic house. Dixon goes deep into the groove on the hissing, intoxicating deep techno roller "MTA", before delivering a touch more melody on the retro-futurist gem "Over The Top". Zucker, on the other hand, opts for a Jaydee-does-deep house feel to "Foundation (Part 1)", before setting off towards the heavens with the deliciously deep, smooth "Reflections".

  2. Patrice Scott - "Future Funk" (7:25)
  3. Basic Soul Unit - "Torn Satin" (6:53)
  4. Michael Zucker - "YHWH" (6:15)
Review: Finale Sessions continues to fly the flag for the freshest variations on deep techno with a distinct Detroit flavour, and now the label is celebrating five years of operations with a split release that calls upon some label regulars to turn out the goods. Luke Hess is up first with the dynamic whipcrack dub techno pulse of "Deliverer", while Patrice Scott continues his fine run of form with the meditative "Future Funk". Basic Soul Unit meanwhile strikes the balance between experimentation and immersion with the sharp-angled yet soothing "Torn Satin", and then label boss Michael Zucker drops a punchy but poignant offering in the shape of "YHWH".

  1. Michael Lovatt - "Tides" (5:11)
  2. Kareen Ali - "Arnaldo Tamayo Mendez" (7:22)
  3. Anaxander - "Unspoken" (7:14)
  4. Michael Zucker - "Together" (7:13)
Review: Following a strong cast including Myles Serge, John Barera, DJ Skull and Hakim Murphy, Mentha continues its strong run of form with a various artists 12" that broadens the horizons of the high-grade deep house label. Michael Lovatt keeps things groovy and understated on "Tides", while Kareen Ali gets into a slow and trippy mood on "Arnaldo Tamayo Mendez". Anaxander's "Unspoken" brings some neo-soul synth lines to the table, and Michael Zucker turns out a brooding, introspective workout. Each track may have its own traits, but the whole record hangs together as a fine next step for a promising label.

  1. Norm Talley - "Power" (5:06)
  2. Norm Talley - "Lock Jaw" (5:48)
  3. Michael Zucker - "Parisian Nights" (7:09)
  4. Michael Zucker - "Thought Process" (6:40)
Review: Finale Sessions have created a new label entitled Future Sessions and will carry on with the same path of deepness and high tech soul as seen on the parent label which has presented the likes of Chez Damier, Fred.P, Patrice Scott, Kai Alce, Keith Worthy, Amir Alexander, Hakim Murphy and Santiago Salazar. This time around it's the legendary Norm Talley handed the reigns who gives us the deep and dubby soul jam of "Power" (killer bassline on this one) and the uplifting and emotive deepness of "Lockjaw". On the flip label boss Michael Zucker ups the tempo with the ethereal yet driving house excursion "Parisian Nights" with the most hypnotic layers of transcendental pads and the sublime depth of the rather gorgeous "Thought Process". Tip!

  1. Keith Worthy - "Untitled"
  2. Miruga - "Searching"
  3. Jose Rico - "Alright Someday Will Come"
  4. Michael Zucker - "2nd Coming"
Review: You know you're in for a deep ride when it comes to the Aesthetic Audio camp, and one look at the list of artists involved in tells you this latest release will be no different. Label boss Keith Worthy kicks things off with a jam that keeps the energy levels up without sacrificing the dreamy ethos of the label, while Miruga opts for a blissful broken dub techno excursion. Jose Rico kicks off the flip with the slow and punchy orchestrations of "Alright Someday Will Come", and then Michael Zucker cooks up a mean disco groove around which plentiful amounts of wistful melody can drift.

  1. His Spirit
  2. Inner City Peace (part 1)
  3. Introspective - "When The Rain Comes Down" (feat Jenifa Mayanja - Michael Zucker Finale mix)
  4. Spiritual Graffiti
Review: Finale Sessions founder Michael Zucker steps into the limelight with his first full EP for the label in the five years it has been running. Zucker has of course featured on a handful of split releases from Finale but he doesn't waste any of the space afforded here with a quartet of superb and varied productions. Leading the way, techno track "His Spirit" bristles with life and percussive energy whilst "Inner City Peace" will likely raise some interested eyebrows in West London thanks to its killer broken beat programming. Face down, Zucker dips into his personal archives for an unreleased and rather crisp remix of Introspective and Jenifa Mayanja hookup "When The Rain Comes Down" whilst the wonderfully named "Spiritual Graffiti" ends the release on a high note.
