Review: Drum n' bass picture discs are a rare treat, and a sensitive medium at that. Laying our grubby hands on one of these could be like touching a fortress made of feathers, but it's all worth it for the music contained therein. Suburban Base welcome four pushers both old and new to their latest V/A EP here, opting for dry, jump-up drum n' bass emphasising clean subs, filtered guitar lines and summer-of-soul vocal licks.

Review: All aboard! Original jungle OG Marvellous Cain rifles through his archives with the team at seminal rave imprint Suburban Base to dig out some old classics and upfront gems. It kicks off here with 'Love Train', one of Cain's most soulful and disco influenced cuts which is perfectly remix-matched with Marky who adds his own Sao Paulo magic to the groove. Elsewhere 'Buss Ah Blank' gets all jumpy and aggy while 'Funky To Night' takes the most classic of classic samples and gives it a brand new twist. Roll on Saturday...
