  1. The Attack Of The Desert Stormers (6:11)
  2. Two Sliders (8:10)
  3. There's Always Tomorrow (6:50)
Review: If you are suitably intrigued by the label illustration of a skipper brandishing a saxophone fashioned out of a large fish that adorns this record, you will be rewarded with more deranged music from the clearly possessed mind and fingers of Marco Bernardi. The more seasoned Bernardi followers will know this three track 12" is the latest in a series of Laffer releases from the Bristol based artist for Burek's fledgling techno offshoot Barba and it's quite deadly. The work of Jamal Moss is what immediately springs to mind when "The Attack Of The Desert Stormers" slips into gear, there is that same sinewy mastery of synth tones, those crunchy drums and flailing rhythms all set in attack formation. "Two Sliders" reigns in that feeling of all out malfunction, as Bernardi keeps the vibe lo fi but really shows off his musicality, whilst "There's Always Tomorrow" begins in subtle fashion but is a pure head jacker in full flow. Spacejam (180 gram vinyl 12")
Cat: WRECKS 3. Rel: 14 Jul 14
  1. Spacejam
  2. No I Didn't
  3. Oist Mal
Review: Klasse Wrecks welcomes Bristol-based Marco Bernardi to its ranks following strong releases for Clone, Delsin, Rawax, Planet E, and most recently the Kelly Twins' Happy Skull label. Spacejam provides an EP of demented drums, fiddling electronics and refreshing originality, showcasing the signature sound of the studio-obsessed Scottish born DJ and producer. His idiosyncratic style runs through the three tracks here, from the space jack and Green Velvet-inspired vocals of the title track, through the rubbery funk of "No I Didn't" and frenetic acid of "Oist Mal".
